Nadine Mahoney is a London-based artist whose multidisciplinary practice explores the intersections of technology, materiality, and the human body. Working with handmade paints and kiln-formed glass, her work reflects on identity, gender, and digital embodiment - blending traditional techniques with futuristic themes.
Using dichroic and fused glass, materials that mirror the glow of phone and computer screens Mahoney creates a dialogue between the tactile and the digital. Her layered surfaces across canvas, aluminium, and glass invite reflection on how technology shapes our sense of self and physical presence.
Mahoney’s work has been exhibited internationally, with shows at University College London, the NARS Foundation (New York), The Java Project, and Bruton Art Factory. She has been shortlisted for the Jerwood Drawing Prize, the Beers Contemporary Prize, and was a finalist for the Threadneedle Prize. Her work has appeared in Time Out, Living Etc, and on the BBC, with commissions including the Conran Group and London Graphic Centre.
